LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT OPERATIONS

This specialty focuses on mastering theoretical concepts and practical tools.
- Establishment of transportation administrative documents as well as their use
- Elaboration of relevant management and operational tools.
-To train future operators involved in the international and multimodal transport chain of goods for import or export, employed by a company specialized in a type of transport (air, land or sea) or by companies using transport providers.
-To give all the professional skills to prepare and follow the routing of goods, in Cameroon and internationally.

- International transport organization function
- Knowledge of all regulations and forms allowing the circulation (customs, transit, insurance, transport) of goods and merchandise at the international and Cameroonian level (Single Administrative Document, goods manifest)
- Knowledge of the characteristics of transport by existing means (road, rail, air, water) in relation to the types of goods transported
- Knowledge of the networks of actors related to international transport and institutions
- Mastery of the operations of collection, routing and distribution of goods
- Mastery of relations (French and English) with transport partners and trades (insurance companies, customs, chambers of commerce, foreign correspondents, production and supply services, other carriers, etc.)
- Mastery of techniques for recording information related to international transport and the preparation of customs documents.
- Transportation cost optimization function
- Knowledge of regulations and regulatory procedures applicable to international transportation (road, rail, air, water)
- Knowledge of litigation risks and compensation systems in case of damage
- Mastery of commercial relations with shippers and consignees
- Mastery of the different transport chains and cost optimization (from organization to pick-up and delivery of goods)
- Mastery of compensation systems to establish the financial settlement of a dispute and negotiate the terms of compensation in case of damage.
- Management function in international transport and port logistics companies
- Knowledge of transportation functions and activities
- Mastery of local management techniques (organization and control of agent rounds: duration, equipment used, goods transported)
- Mastery of equipment monitoring techniques and organization of repairs or maintenance
- Controls the routing of goods, the condition of the equipment, compliance with costs and productivity of transportation.

The lessons are evaluated in:
- Continuous assessment
- Personal work of the student - A semester exam
The first two count for 30% and the exam for 70%. A make-up exam is organized for all those who have not been able to capitalize at the end of the two semesters of the training the 60 credits required.

- Bac + 2 (other diplomas) with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in logistics and transport
- Bac+2 with or without BTS in logistics, international trade, commercial action and marketing, sales and marketing; Licence (level 2) in economics and management; DUT in management; Bac+2 in science and technology or industrial production; For all candidates, admission consists of two stages:
- Examination of the application file
- Tests and interview with the teaching team
